Dr. Marko Nenonen is an independent scholar and consultant in the field of history and culture. He worked as a University Lecturer at the Tampere University, Finland, until retiring in 2024. He has also lived almost two decades abroad. His publications include, among others, works on transport history and the history of witch-hunts. The ongoing work focuses on the dichotomy of ox-driven and horse-driven agriculture in Europe, 1000–1900. He is also working with other themes about European history.
